About this inquiry

On 15 September 2016, the Senate referred the Migration Amendment (Family Violence and Other Measures) Bill 2016 to the Legal and Constitutional Affairs Legislation Committee for inquiry and report on 10 October 2016.

This bill was previously the subject of a committee inquiry. That inquiry lapsed and the bill has now been re-referred for inquiry. The committee will have access to submissions made to the previous inquiry. This means that submissions already provided to the committee about this bill do not need to be re-submitted.

Submissions already provided are available on the inquiry webpage.
