About this inquiry

On 15 September 2016, the Senate referred the Migration Amendment (Family Violence and Other Measures) Bill 2016 to the Legal and Constitutional Affairs Legislation Committee for inquiry and report on 10 October 2016.

This bill was previously the subject of a committee inquiry. That inquiry lapsed and the bill has now been re-referred for inquiry.
