Migration Amendment (Strengthening Employer Compliance) Bill 2023 [Provisions]

The Migration Amendment (Strengthening Employer Compliance) Bill 2023 would establish a criminal offence for employers and third party providers who misuse visa programs to exploit temporary migrant workers. It would also implement recommendations 19 and 20 of the Report of the Migrant Workers' Taskforce.

The deadline for submissions is 21 July 2023.

The reporting date is 31 August 2023.
