About this inquiry

The Family Law Amendment (Western Australia De Facto Superannuation Splitting and Bankruptcy) Bill 2019 would bring Western Australia into line with the federal approach to splitting superannuation for de facto couples, and extend federal bankruptcy jurisdiction to the Family Court of Western Australia.

Family Law Amendment (Western Australia De Facto Superannuation Splitting and Bankruptcy) Bill 2019 [Provisions]

On 5 December 2019 the Senate referred the provisions of the Family Law Amendment (Western Australia De Facto Superannuation Splitting and Bankruptcy) Bill 2019 to the Legal and Constitutional Affairs Legislation Committee for inquiry and report by 13 March 2020.

 

The deadline for submission to the inquiry is 24 January 2020.
