The publication of submissions is not an automated process and can take some time, ranging from days to weeks.
If you have made a submission, you will receive a formal acknowledgement from the committee once decisions have been made about the submission's acceptance and publication.
You may request that your submission is published as ‘name withheld’ or accepted confidentially. If you make such a request, it would assist if you briefly outline the reason(s) for making that request.
If your submission is published as name withheld, your submission will be published on the inquiry webpage but with your name removed.
Confidential submissions are not published on the webpage, and are available only to members of the committee.
Contact details (email addresses, phone numbers and postal addresses) are never published in submissions from individuals.
All submissions to Senate committee inquiries are protected by parliamentary privilege. If you have made a submission and are concerned that you have been threatened or disadvantaged on the basis of your submission, please bring that to the attention of the committee (by contacting the secretariat) as soon as possible.
