Information about the Inquiry

On 14 September 2009 the Senate referred the following matter to the Senate Foreign Affairs, Defence and Trade Committee for inquiry and report.

Extension of time to Report
  
On 25 February 2010,    the Senate granted an extension of time to report to 13 May 2010.
  
On 12 May 2010, the Senate granted an extension of time to report to 2 September 2010.

On 30 September 2010, the Senate re-adopt the inquiry, not disposed of at the end of the 42nd Parliament, with a reporting date of 25 November 2010.

Submissions should be received by 30 October 2009. The reporting date is 25 November 2010.

The Committee is seeking written submissions from interested individuals and organisations preferably in electronic form submitted online or sent by email to fadt.sen@aph.gov.au as an attached Adobe PDF or MS Word format document. The email must include full postal address and contact details.
