Environment and Infrastructure Legislation Amendment (Stop Adani) Bill 2017

On 22 June 2017, the Senate referred the  Environment and Infrastructure Legislation Amendment (Stop Adani) Bill 2017 to the Senate Environment and Communications Legislation Committee for inquiry and report by 13 September 2017.

The Bill seeks to address issues related to the Adani Mine, and to strengthen environmental law and provide for review of Adani's existing approval.

The closing date for submissions is 14 July 2017.
