On the 4th December 2014, the Senate referred the Enhancing Online Safety for Children Bill 2014 and Enhancing Online Safety for Children (Consequential Amendments) Bill 2014 to the Environment and Communications Legislation Committee for inquiry and report.

The closing date for submissions is 12 January 2015. The reporting date is 3 March 2015
