Pursuant to Senate standing order 38(7), I present to you a progress report of the Economics Legislation Committee's inquiry into the Offshore Petroleum Greenhouse Gas Storage Amendment (Benefit to Australia) Bill 2020.

The committee requests an extension of time to report until 30 June 2021 to allow it to take further evidence, consider the evidence already received and to conclude its deliberations.
