Review of the Foreign Influence Transparency Scheme Bill 2017

On 8 December 2017 Prime Minister, the Hon Malcolm Turnbull MP, asked the Committee to inquire into and report on the Foreign Influence Transparency Scheme Bill 2017.

Further information about the Bill, which was introduced to Parliament on 7 December 2017, can be found at this link.

On 7 June 2018, the Attorney-General, the Hon Christian Porter MP, proposed Government amendments which have been accepted by the Committee as submissions to the inquiry and can be found on the Submissions page (see Submission 84 and Supplementary Submission 84.1). 

The Committee tabled its report on 25 June 2018.
