The Parliamentary Joint Committee on Intelligence and Security (PJCIS) commenced an Inquiry into extremist movements and radicalism in Australia in December 2020 with terms of reference from the Minister for Home Affairs.

The Committee received a great deal of interest in this inquiry and, due to the sensitive subject, considered various matters prior to publishing evidence received.

The Committee decides whether to accept a submission and whether to publish it according to parliamentary procedure and standing orders.
