Review of the Home Affairs and Integrity Agencies Legislation Amendment Bill 2017

On 8 December 2017, Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull asked the Committee to inquire into and report on the Home Affairs and Integrity Agencies Legislation Amendment Bill 2017.

Further information about the Bill, which was introduced to Parliament on 7 December 2017, can be found at this link.

The Committee is currently accepting submissions to this inquiry. Any individual or organisation that wishes to provide a submission should notify the Committee Secretariat by email at pjcis@aph.gov.au by Friday, 22 December 2017.

Submissions should be received no later than ​12pm​, ​Monday 22 January 2018​. 

Full consideration may not be able to be given to submissions received after this date.

The Committee intends to provide its report by February 2018.
