On 28 November 2019, the Senate referred the provisions of the Treasury Laws Amendment (Your Superannuation, Your Choice) Bill 2019 to the Economics Legislation Committee for inquiry and report by 21 February 2020.

Submissions closed on 17 January 2020. 

Please Note: On Thursday 6 Febuary 2020, the Senate resolved to amend the reporting date for the inquiry from 21 February 2020 to 20 March 2020.

In light of the global COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic and consequent health risks, all previously scheduled face-to-face public hearings of the Senate Standing Committees on Economics have been postponed until further notice. However, the committee is examining the potential of conducting some hearings via teleconference and will be in contact with relevant stakeholders.
