Reporting date: Senator Farrell, by leave and at the request of the Chair of the Foreign Affairs, Defence and Trade References Committee (Senator Trood), moved—That the final report of the Foreign Affairs, Defence and Trade References Committee on the economic and security challenges facing Papua New Guinea and the island states of the southwest Pacific be presented by 21 August 2009.
