On 24 July 2025, the Senate restored the Remuneration Tribunal Amendment (There For Public Service, Not Profit) Bill 2025 to the Notice Paper and referred the bill to the Finance and Public Administration Legislation Committee for inquiry and report by 28 November 2025.

This means that submissions already provided to the committee about this bill do not need to be re-submitted. The committee intends to refer to the evidence received during the 47th Parliament.
