Governor-General Amendment (Cessation of Allowances in the Public Interest) Bill 2023

On 9 March 2023, the Selection of Bills committee referred the provisions of the Governor-General Amendment (Cessation of Allowances in the Public Interest) Bill 2023 to the committee for inquiry and report by 10 May 2023.

  Submissions closing date: 03 April 2023 

  On 10 May 2023, the Senate agreed to extend the presentation of the final report until 31 July 2023.
