Inquiry into the exposure drafts of the legislation to implement the Carbon Pollution Reduction Scheme

      On 11 March 2009,  the Senate referred the exposure draft  of the legislation to implement the Carbon Pollution Reduction Scheme to  the 
      Senate Standing Committee on Economics.
      The exposure draft legislation is available on the 
      Committee's website at:

      Submissions to this 
      inquiry should concentrate on the exposure draft legislation and the 
      Carbon Pollution Reduction Scheme. Submissions about climate change policy 
      more generally may be better directed to the separate inquiry by the 
      Senate Select Committee on Climate Policy.
              The Committee is inviting submissions to this inquiry by 
      5pm, Wednesday 25 March 2009. Please contact the committee secretariat 
      as soon as possible should you require an extension of time. The Committee 
      is due to report to the Senate by 14 April 2009.
