Workforce Plan Implementation Timeline, October 2021

this figure presents an overview of the planned implementation timeline of the Australian government's NDIS national workforce plan 2021-2025.
it shows that work for all of the workforce plan's 16 initiatives is underway. 
initiatives under priority 1 of the plan are mostly in the implementation phase, with initiative number 2 still in the design phase. its expected that the 5 initiatives under priority 1 will be complete in the 2022-23 financial year.

the 4 initiatives under priority 4 of the workforce plan, are all in the design phase of implementation as at October 2021.  the micro credential, professional network and student placement initiatives are projected to be complete by the end of 2022 and the skills passport measure is planned to be complete by the end of 2024.

regarding the measures under priority 3, the majority of measures are in the later part of the deign phase, or in early stages on implementation. initiative 15, to support telehealth in rural and remote communities is already complete and in its 'business as usual' operation phase. initiative 16, aimed at supporting the indigenous community controlled sector is in its evaluation phase, expected to be complete by mid 2022.
