On Friday 19 December 2014, the House of Representatives Standing Committee on Social Policy and Legal Affairs resolved to inquire into a matter arising from the 2013-14 Annual Report of the Family Law Council, namely surrogacy arrangements in Australia, and for Australians.

About this inquiry

The House of Representatives Standing Committee on Social Policy and Legal Affairs held a Roundtable on Surrogacy to investigate the complexities of regulation of surrogacy, and issues faced by the increasing number of Australians who seek and use surrogacy arrangements.
