The Australian Manufacturing Industry

On 12 August 2021, the Senate referred the Australian manufacturing industry to the Senate Economics References Committee for inquiry and report by 24 November 2021.

On Wednesday 24 November 2021, the Senate granted a further extension to report by 17 December 2021.

The committee requests an extension of time to report until 27 January 2022 to allow the committee to examine and consider the committee’s draft report before tabling.
