                    On 31 July 2025, the Joint Committee of Public Accounts and Audit adopted an inquiry into the Defence Major Projects Report (MPR) 2023-24, including any matters contained and associated with Auditor-General Report No. 20 of 2024–25:

The Committee invites submissions to the inquiry addressing the terms of reference by

- Inquiry into the effectiveness of Australia's National Anti-Doping Scheme

                    On 4 September 2025, the Joint Committee of Public Accounts and Audit adopted an inquiry into the effectiveness of Australia’s National Anti-Doping Scheme. The inquiry will examine the existing frameworks underpinning this scheme, including their management and operation, to determine if they are fit for purpose to protect the integrity of Australian sport by detecting and preventing unlawful drug use by athletes.
The Committee invites submissions to the inquiry addressing the terms of reference by Friday 17 October 2025.
                
 
            
                - Inquiry into the procurement of mandated national support and advocacy services for victims of child sexual abuse

                    On 4 September 2025, the Joint Committee of Public Accounts and Audit adopted an inquiry into the procurement of mandated national support and advocacy services for victims of child sexual abuse. The inquiry will specifically examine the tender and procurement processes being used by the Attorney General’s department. 
The Committee invites submission to the inquiry addressing the terms of reference by Friday 17 October 2025.

This aligns with the resolution of the House of Representatives adopted on 29 September 2010 regarding Government responses to committee reports.
