About this inquiry

The Migration Amendment (Regulation of Migration Agents) Bill 2019 would make a number of amendments to the Migration Act 1958, which are aimed at streamlining and simplifying regulation of the migration advice industry. The Migration Agents Registration Application Charge Amendment (Rates of Charge) Bill 2019 would amend the Migration Agents Registration Application Charge Act 1997 to adjust charges for the provision of immigration assistance otherwise than on a non-commercial basis.
