Inquiry into Schemes, Digital Wallets and Innovation in the Payments Sector

The Treasurer, the Hon Dr Jim Chalmers MP, has asked the House of Representatives Standing Committee on Economics to inquire into matters relating to current digital payment schemes and emerging technologies. The committee adopted the inquiry on 8 December 2025.

The deadline for submissions is Friday, 30 January 2026.
