Following the call for submissions to this inquiry, the committee received a significant amount of correspondence from individuals across the country.

The committee received and considered over 1000 letters and emails both electronically and by mail. Due to the large number of submissions, the committee decided not to publish every submission on its website. Instead, the committee has published a selection of submissions which represent the types of views expressed in the submissions received. All submissions were considered by the committee during the course of the inquiry.
