Report on matters referred to the Rural and Regional Affairs and Transport References Committee in the 45th Parliament

The Senate Rural and Regional Affairs and Transport References Committee met on 4 July 2019 and resolved to recommend to the Senate:

That the following inquiries of the 45th Parliament be re-adopted:

  • Policy, regulatory, taxation, administrative and funding priorities for Australian shipping – proposed report tabling date – 5 December 2019
  • Provision of rescue, firefighting and emergency response at Australian airports – proposed report tabling date – 5 December 2019
  • Feasibility of a National Horse Traceability Register for all horses – proposed report tabling date – 5 December 2019

The committee also resolved to recommend to the Senate that the committee have the power to consider and use the records of the Senate Rural and Regional Affairs and Transport References Committee appointed in the previous parliament.
