Migration Amendment (2026 Measures No. 1) Bill 2026

On 10 March 2026, the Senate directed the Legal and Constitutional Affairs Legislation Committee to hold a public hearing at 5.00 pm on 10 March 2026, until 6.30 pm, for the purpose of hearing from officials from the Department of Home Affairs regarding the details of the Migration Amendment (2026 Measures No. 1) Bill 2026.

As this was not an inquiry, the committee did not call for submissions.
