Terms of Reference

The state of democracy and human rights in Myanmar, with specific consideration of the phased elections to be held from December, and the barriers to a return to an inclusive civilian democratic government.

Extension of time to report

  • On 5 February 2026 the Senate agreed to extend the reporting date to 31 March 2026.
