On 1 December 2022 the Senate referred the provisions of the Paid Parental Leave Amendment (Improvements for Families and Gender Equality) Bill 2022  to the Community Affairs Legislation Committee for inquiry and report by 3 March 2023.

The Committee agreed to report on the inquiry by 24 February 2023.

Submissions are sought by 23 January 2023.
