Inquiry into Social Media and Online Safety

The House Select Committee on Social Media and Online Safety was established by a resolution of appointment that passed the House of Representatives on 1 December 2021.
Following an amendment to the resolution of appointment which passed the House of Representatives on 15 February 2022 the committee will now present its final report on or before 15 March 2022.

Upon tabling the final report the committee will cease to exist.

The invitation for submissions addressing the terms of reference closed on 8 March 2022.

On 30 March 2023, the Australian Government response was tabled.
