The Department of Parliamentary Services (DPS) has a diverse workforce of approximately 1200 staff members who support the various functions of the Australian Parliament and the work of parliamentarians.

We do this by providing the following at Australian Parliament House (APH):

  • professional services, advice and facilities
  • ongoing maintenance services
  • accessibility initiatives to make sure everyone can visit the building and experience the important activity that takes place within it.
