1. The committee met in private session on Wednesday, 26 February 2020 at 7.45pm.
2. The committee recommends that—
   1. the provisions of the Australian Education Amendment (Direct Measure of Income) Bill 2020 be referred immediately to the Education and Employment Legislation Committee for inquiry and report by 1 May 2020 (see appendix 1 for a statement of reasons for referral);
   2. the Commonwealth Electoral Amendment (Donation Reform and Other Measures) Bill 2020 be referred immediately to the Finance and Public Administration Legislation Committee for inquiry and report by 30 June 2020 (see appendix 2 for a statement of reasons for referral);
   3. the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Amendment (Climate Trigger) Bill 2020 be referred immediately to the Environment and Communications Legislation Committee for inquiry and report by 14 October 2020 (see appendix 3 for a statement of reasons for referral);
   4. the Intelligence and Security Legislation Amendment (Implementing Independent Intelligence Review) Bill 2020 be referred immediately to the Finance and Public Administration Legislation Committee for inquiry and report by 25 June 2020 (see appendix 4 for a statement of reasons for referral); and
   5. the provisions of the National Radioactive Waste Management Amendment (Site Specification, Community Fund and Other Measures) Bill 2020 be referred immediately to the Economics Legislation Committee for inquiry and report by 12 June 2020 (see appendix 5 for a statement of reasons for referral).
3. The committee recommends that the following bills not be referred to committees:
