The Senate Rural and Regional Affairs and Transport Legislation Committee met on 4 July 2019 and resolved to readopt the following self-referred inquiry under Standing Order 25(2)(a):

Inquiry into the Australian Maritime Safety Authority

The committee also resolved to recommend to the Senate that the committee have the power to consider and use the records of the Senate Standing Rural and Regional Affairs and Transport Legislation Committee appointed in the previous parliament.
