Information about the Inquiry

On 14 September 2009, the Parliamentary Joint Committee on Law Enforcement initiated an inquiry into the following matter:

The adequacy of aviation and maritime security measures to combat serious and organised crime pursuant to Section 55(1)(d) of the Australian Crime Commission Act 2002. Terms of Reference for the inquiry are provided on the website.

Submissions should be received by 06 November 2009.

The Committee is seeking written submissions from interested individuals and organisations preferably in electronic form submitted online or sent by email to le.committee@aph.gov.au as an attached Adobe PDF or MS Word format document. The email must include full postal address and contact details.
