Inquiry into certain aspects of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade Annual Report 2019-20 - child and forced marriage

Under its resolution of appointment, the Committee is able to undertake inquiries into Annual Reports of various agencies.

Currently there are two Sub-committees which are looking at the 2019-20 Annual Report of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

The Human Rights Sub-committee is currently considering matters relating to Child and Forced Marriage.
A public hearing is being held in Canberra on 18 June 2021.

Expressions of interest (up to 150 words) to participate in the public hearing are invited by 1 June 2021.
Written submissions are also invited by 1 June, should you wish to see your views published at a future time.
