and Military Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 2004
to enable services involving a professional attendance provided under certain laws administered by the Minister for Veterans’ Affairs to be considered for a prescribed pattern of services, but not unacceptable conduct, for the purposes of the Professional Services Review scheme.

and six other Acts to: transfer certain aged care regulatory functions and powers from the Secretary of the Department of Health to the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commissioner in relation to the approval, monitoring and enforcement of regulatory compliance of providers of aged care; and provide for the reconsideration and review of decisions in relation to the new functions of the commissioner. Also provides for transitional arrangements.

Bills and committees
The House of Representatives Selection Committee and the Senate Selection of Bills Committee routinely consider whether bills should be referred to committees for inquiry and report.
