Results of the 2022 census are positive and compare favourably to the APS overall. The results are generally comparable to the 2020 results and continue to show a strong connection with the department and our purpose. Specific strengths include:

• Overall job satisfaction received a positive score of 91%;
• Recommending the department as a good place to work received 94% positive response – 25% higher than the APS average;
• 97% of respondents indicated they believed strongly in the purpose and objectives of this department;
• The perception that the department cares about the staff's health and wellbeing received a 90% positive response – 29% higher than the APS average and an improvement from 2020 of 15%.
