COVID Safe information

COVID Safe Plan: Australian Parliament House (PDF, 810 KB)

COVID Safe measures have been applied across Australian Parliament House for the health and wellbeing of visitors and those who work in the building. The COVID Safe Plan: Australian Parliament House meets the requirement of the ACT Public Health Direction (Restricted Activities – Gatherings, Business or Undertakings) Emergency Direction 2020. It supplements COVID Safe policies and procedures of the Department of Parliamentary Services that are in place to reduce the transmissibility risk of COVID-19. This Plan will be regularly updated and adjusted according to the latest health authority advice.

COVID Safe Events and Functions: A framework for a safe environment for visitors and our people (PDF, 1.4 MB)

Together with event organisers we host COVID Safe events within Australian Parliament House. COVID Safe measures in place address the ACT Government’s COVID Safe Event Protocol.  Event organisers are responsible for working with the APH Catering and Events team to produce a COVID Safe Plan for each event. The APH Catering and Events Team would be delighted to assist with your next event.  Find our more, or to book your next function, please email us or call 02 6277 8000.
