Committee Scrutiny of LAND 121 Stage 5B and Armoured Fighting Vehicles Facilities Projects

The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Public Works will hold hearings into two proposals from the Department of Defence to deliver works at various Defence sites across Australia aimed at supporting the acquisition of new Australian Defence Force vehicles.

The LAND 121 Stage 5B Facilities Project will provide fit for purpose facilities and infrastructure to support and sustain vehicles, modules and trailers being procured for the Australian Defence Force under the LAND 121 Vehicle Acquisition Program. The cost of the proposed works is $183.3 million, excluding GST.

The Armoured Fighting Vehicles Facilities Project will provide fit for purpose facilities and infrastructure to support and sustain, and train Army personnel on the next generation of Armoured Fighting Vehicles capability being procured for the Australian Defence Force. The cost of the proposed works is $235.1 million, excluding GST.
