On 16 February 2012 the Selection Committee asked the Committee to inquire into and report on the Aviation Transport Security Amendment (Screening) Bill 2012.

As this is an inquiry into proposed legislation, there are no specific terms of reference other than the text of the Bill. The Bill and Explanatory Memorandum are available from the link above.

The Committee invites interested persons and organisations to make submissions addressing the terms of reference by 28 February 2012. Please refer to our brochure called preparing a submission for more information.
