2019 My First Speech Competition

The 2019 winners have been announced. 

 

Congratulations to:

1st Place - Lucy Lonnqvist from St Mary's Anglican Girls School in Perth, WA

2nd Place - Alexander Matters from St John's Grammar School in Adelaide, SA

3rd Place - Clara Kim from Taroona High School in Kingston, Tas

 

We are looking forward to welcoming our winners to Parliament House in Canberra in October.

The judges had a hard task narrowing it down this year. There are 12 finalists for 2019.

All finalists will receive a certificate signed by their local member and the Speaker of the House of Representatives. 

The three winners will be invited to Canberra on 14 and 15 October to meet the Speaker, judges and their local members as well as giving their speeches live in Parliament House.
