‘I live with my family on the side of the Daly River that is famous for its barramundi. For hundreds of years our people have caught barramundi fish in the Daly River. We used to use woven nets but now we use fishing lines to catch them. We take them home and cook them in the coals and share them with family. We feel lucky living next to this big river.’ – Artist's statement.
