The hours of meeting are provided for by standing order 55, but may be varied by the Senate.
These tables show the time the Senate commenced sitting and adjourned for each sitting day, together with the time of any suspensions. A suspension of sitting takes place with the agreement of the Senate to enable other activities to occur.
