Education Services for Overseas Students Amendment (Quality and Integrity) Bill 2024 [Provisions]

Progress report

On 16 May 2024, the Senate referred the provisions of the Education Services for Overseas Students Amendment (Quality and Integrity) Bill 2024 to the Senate Education and Employment Legislation Committee (committee) for inquiry and report by 15 August 2024. On 14 August 2024, the Senate agreed to extend the committee's reporting date to 6 September 2024.

The committee requests a further extension to report on 16 September 2024 to allow the committee time to conclude its deliberations.
