Residential Electrification

On 14 June 2023, the Senate referred an inquiry into residential electrification to the Senate Economics References Committee for inquiry and report by the last sitting day of 2024. On 28 November 2024, the Senate agreed to extend the reporting date to 31January 2025.

The committee is still conducting its inquiry and requests an extension of time to report until 31 July 2025 to allow further consideration of the evidence received and to conclude its deliberations.
