Overview
2.1
This
determination specifies Ngaanyatjarra shire, Kiwirrkurra community and Laverton
shire as a declared voluntary income management area and also specifies these
locations as an area in which the vulnerable welfare payment recipient measure
applies.
2.2
The effect of
the determination is that a person residing in the specified area, who is in
receipt of a category H welfare payment may become subject to the income
management regime under the vulnerable welfare payment recipient measure of
income management.

2.3
The committee
has decided to examine this instrument as part of its examination of the
Stronger Futures package of legislation.
