On 22 September 2011 the House of Representatives asked the Committee to inquire into and report on the following proposed legislation:
As this is an inquiry into proposed legislation, there are no specific terms of reference other than the text of the Bill. The Bill and Explanatory Memorandum are available from the link above.
The Committee invites interested persons and organisations to make submissions by 11 November, 2011. Please note that a written submission to an inquiry must be sent exclusively to the Committee and not distributed to any other party until it has been accepted by the Committee and authorised to be made publicly available.
