Education Services for Overseas Students Act 2000
to provide that the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA) and its staff undertake functions relating to provider registration and monitoring; Higher Education Support Act 2003
to recognise new registration requirements for higher education providers and the TEQSA; and proposed Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency Act 2011
to update the definition of ‘vocational education and training course’. Also provides for the transition of functions from state and territories authorities to the TEQSA.
