to restructure the method of payment and collection of the Environmental Management Charge levied on standard tourism operations to clarify that goods and services tax is not payable; and consequentially extend the powers of inspectors to search aircraft and vessels and the powers of magistrates to issue search warrants. Also contains an application provision.

Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Act 1975
to implement changes to the governance arrangements of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority. Also provides for: a periodic outlook report; development of zoning plans for the Marine Park; and replaces the Great Barrier Reef Consultative Committee with a non-statutory advisory board.

to provide a framework for the administration and management of the Great Barrier Reef Park which integrates with the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999
and other legislation by: implementing environmental impact assessment and permitting processes; investigation and evidence collection; targeted approaches to enforcement; encouraging responsible use of the Park; and new emergency management powers.

Part of a package of three bills to establish governance arrangements for Commonwealth superannuation schemes, the bill: merges the Australian Reward Investment Alliance, the Military Superannuation and Benefits Board and the Defence Force Retirement and Death Benefits Authority into a single trustee body - the Commonwealth Superannuation Corporation (CSC), and sets out its functions and powers; establishes a governing board of CSC; allows CSC to employ staff and engage consultants; and provides for finance and reporting requirements.
