Diana Dwyre is Professor of Political Science at California State University, Chico, USA. She was the 2009–10 Fulbright ANU Distinguished Chair of American Politics.

Rosemary Laing is the Clerk of the Senate. She is the editor of Annotated Standing Orders of the Australian Senate, published in 2009.
