On 3 September 2025, the Committee adopted an inquiry into all aspects of the conduct of the 2025 federal election.
Written submissions can be lodged via the inquiry webpage. Submissions in other formats, including video, should be emailed to em@aph.gov.au.
Please note that submissions should not be shared with anyone or published until you have been notified that the Committee has determined to accept your submission. Any sharing or publication prior to the Committee’s acceptance may result in your contribution not being protected by parliamentary privilege and considered as correspondence only. Expressions of Interest—Make a statement at a public hearing
The Committee will be holding hearings in Hobart (28 April 2026) and Devonport (29 April 2026). As part of these hearing members of the public will be invited to get on the record by making short verbal statements of up to 5 minutes.
To register your interest in please email em@aph.gov.au with the following details:
- Who you are and how you can be contacted
- Which current hearing date you would like to attend
- What you would like to tell the committee about, and
- How you participated in the 2025 federal election.
While not everyone may get opportunity to give a statement, the Committee would like to hear from as many people as possible.
