Christmas Giving Tree 2025

Parliament House is decking the halls this festive season. With a giant Christmas tree, delicious food from Queen’s Terrace Café and quality Australian gifts from the Parliament Shop, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

Each year, Parliament House helps raise money through the Christmas Giving Tree program for two charities that do important work for our community. This year’s charities are Country Needs People and Landcare Australia.

Country Needs People is a leading national non-profit organisation working alongside over 50 Indigenous partners to support, strengthen and amplify Indigenous land and sea management Australia-wide. Led by a majority Indigenous board, Country Needs People work to ensure Indigenous Rangers and Indigenous Protected Areas are secured into the future.

Landcare Australia is an independent, national not-for-profit organisation. They work at the forefront of community and corporate engagement in environmental conservation and sustainable land management. This is done through activities that protect and conserve Australia’s land, water, soils, plants, animals and ecosystems.

Your support will allow both charities to continue their vital work.

There will also be many choir performances held over November and December to get you into the Christmas spirit. See the full choir schedule here

Come and enjoy the free choir performances and support the two charities by donating using the QR codes located in the Marble Foyer, the Queen’s Terrace Café and the Parliament Shop.

If you aren’t able to visit in person, you can also donate via the charities’ websites.
